Part of the backbone of Floyd's teaching on World Class customer care is to "Say thank you often". When was the last time you sent a handwritten thank-you note? When was the last time you sent a thank-you email? Odds are most of us have done the latter much more recently (and frequently) than the former. A recent USAToday article makes a good point and reminds us that the disappearing handwritten thank-you is a great way to stand out in your market...as long as it's not generic.
